"Best time of my life personally this is not the best island to visit. But if you want a really shopping and touristy type time I definitely recommend it. We stayed for a whole week and almost cried when we left."

"Oʻahu wasn’t a complete surprise — its beaches and energy are famous for a reason. But experiencing the island in person still made it easy to understand why visitors from around the world keep coming back. The hotel strip along Kalākaua Avenue offers the convenience and excitement most travelers are looking for, especially for a short stay. Yet just a few blocks away, a different side of the island begins to appear. Morning joggers fill the residential streets, parks come alive before sunrise, and the rhythm of daily life feels healthy, active, and connected to the outdoors. Look a little deeper and you’ll find local shopping centers, neighborhood cafés, and Asian supermarkets that make everyday living surprisingly convenient and affordable compared to the resort areas. The transition from beachfront hotels to residential neighborhoods feels natural rather than abrupt. Perhaps that’s Oʻahu’s greatest strength: it works equally well as a destination for a few unforgettable vacation days or as a place to slow down and live the island lifestyle for a while. Some places are wonderful to visit. Oʻahu feels like a place you could stay."

"I left the Oahu 2 years ago. I miss my Hawaii everyday. Beautiful oceans and mountains surrounding the island. Most things I miss are the weather and double rainbows 🌈! Waikiki Beach, North Shore, Ewa Beach, and Kapolei. If you take a photo from anywhere, it is truly a post card. Only thing is that too expensive to live there, but it might be worth it? Pay for the weather and nature."
