Waimanalo Beach Cottages

"My family and I recently rented all the cottages to be together to celebrate my grandad’s 100th birthday. It was quite literally the perfect place for all 20+ of us to be together (and have our own cottages) - and along the most gorgeous stretch of beach on any Hawaiian island! Carolyn was so helpful with my thousand emails and requests…we couldn’t be more grateful, or recommend the cottages more to anyone who wants to see Oahu outside of Honolulu!"

"We stayed in one of these charming, lovely beach cottages for two months and could not have been happier. The beach, which is literally steps away, is one of the most beautiful we've seen in all of our travels...uncrowded, pristine, aqua blue water. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and when we wanted something special there were plenty of places to choose from locally and in Kailua. Shopping in Kailua and Waikiki was wonderful. The owners and staff were cheerful and accomodating. This place must be Hawaii's best kept secret. We will miss this magical place and hope to be back!"

"Great location, probably 150 yards from a lovely beach, we were provided with everything we needed, and the managers were next door and accessible. Washer and dryer available and the cottage had a hair dryer and provided shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Coffee pods, a coffee machine, toaster, pots and pans and silverware are provided. 2 BBQ's for your use and we were allowed guests. Their is a TV we had a little trouble with, but that was mainly due to the weather and we had internet and cell service. Limited parking in small area, but we always had a spot and there is parking on the nearby street which our guests parked on. We just returned from a week in a studio cottage during the second big storm. Waimanolo is small town and we shopped locally at Shima's market. Do to weather and flooding the local eatery we could walk to closed early. And everyone was pleasant and helpful. The emergency crews did a great job of directing traffic and giving us advice on traveling to and from Honolulu, where we have family. All the other guests were pleasant and helpful to each other, especially a guest who stays there frequently while he works in the area. We are older and used to staying in resorts now, but we enjoyed our stay in our cottage and are recommending it to family who are headed there with their children in November."
