Kaiwi State Scenic Shoreline

"The lighthouse trail is a fantastic and easy-to-moderate hike with incredible coastal views the entire way. The round trip is about 2.3 miles, and the paved path makes it accessible and enjoyable for most visitors. The scenery at the top is absolutely worth the walk, with sweeping views of the ocean and rugged coastline. There is very little shade along the trail, so plan to go early in the morning and bring water. A great way to experience Oahu’s natural beauty."

"What a fun hike! My first recommendation is when the parking is scares get to the bottom and follow someone walking to their car and grab their spot. The spot is super fun to hike gets a little challenging at times because it is steep so we’re good shoes. It’s fully paved and high-quality road. Keep your eye on your kids because there’s no handrails on the path couple spots where it’s pretty steep. The views are amazing. Make sure you get all the way to the very top to check out the views. We were lucky enough to see some whales offshore and take some great photos of all the sites. It’s a little over a mile and a half to the top and back down to the bottom definitely a great workout. Lots of people enjoying this trail."
