"When on O’ahu you should take the drive to the Diamond Head overlook. There is parking and you can walk a good distance above the shore to watch the activities below. I have seen turtles below, but you are almost guaranteed to see surfers and boating activity. It is simply a beautiful view of the ocean and just how remote these islands are."

"The Diamond Head lookout and summit trail are located directly on the rim of the Diamond Head (Lēʻahi) volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu. This 500,000-year-old crater was formed by explosive volcanic eruptions and served as a strategic military lookout during World War II, with remnants of these bunkers remaining at the top today. If I meditated, I would imagine this would be a lovely spot to sit down and meditate. Gorgeous views, gentle breezes, and friendly people. With a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and that cawing of birds in nearby trees, you can't help but feel small and insignificant. Mother Earth and Father Sky meet here to rendezvous."
