"Navy Marine Golf Course is one of my favorite places to play on Oʻahu. What really sets it apart is the pro shop staff, they’re consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. On more than one occasion I’ve shown up without a tee time, and they’ve gone out of their way to help fit me in when possible. They handle it professionally and with a great attitude. You never feel like you’re a bother, just the opposite. Check-in is smooth, the atmosphere is positive, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. The course is always in solid shape, and the setting is fantastic. Really appreciate the whole crew and the way they treat people. Mahalo."
"Fantastic golf course, a must if you travel to or are in Hawaii. Generous fairways, great greens, and very helpful staff. Price is really good too."
"Great place for a round of golf with friends or by yourself. I always have fun here. Not located on base, bu a government ID card is required. The good: Tee boxes and fairways are pretty nice. Fairways and rough are full of grass, no bare spots. The greens can get challenging. They tend to be firm and fast. During the summer, it tends to get a little dry, making them firmer. Trees are placed in the right spots to add to the challenge...I've been next to most of them. Good variation of easier holes with wide fairways and ones with narrow fairways. Tends to open up after a narrower fairway. Sand traps have sand to hit out of, not packed down hard. Greens roll smoothly, there is some undulation, and the grain comes into play at this course. The bad: Really can't think of any big bad things. People need to fix their divots on the greens. The course is mostly flat, walker friendly. There is a good mix of walkers and cart riders. Pace if play is pretty good. Practice areas: -Driving range - mats only. Lots of stalls. Buy balls at the Pro Shop. Putting green - nice putting green next to tee box on hole 1. - short game area - good size short game area for chipping and pitching. There are a couple of practice bunkers to hit out of. This course has a Pro Shop with some equipment and apparel. From time to time there are some good sales on clothes and shoes, just need to go inside to see. There is a restaurant upstairs, we did not go there so I can't tell much about it. There is also a snake bar downstairs with bar food and adult beverages."
