"We loved our stay here while we got married! Beautiful property with absolutely breathtaking views. Super walkable to many shops and restaurants. Staff was kind and gave us great suggestions for things to do nearby. As a young couple with no kids, we truly appreciated the quiet at the adults only pool. The pool bar was amazing all the drinks were great, and they were accommodating to my allergy. Our rooms were clean and decently sized. Food was great too. Hoping to be back soon!!"
"Great hotel with a few quirks. THE GOOD: Location and grounds are looking good. This is one of the most walkable places to stay on the island as there is a beachfront path as well as its located right next to whalers village. The rooms have been updated since my last stay a few years ago. There are still some interesting quirks like bad patched tile in the pool but the place looks great overall. THE BAD: The place is pretty expensive food and drinks for a couple are easily 100 per meal for not 100 dollar food. It doesn’t matter where you go budget that at a minimum and be warned. THE UGLY: Elevators are slow service is slow screwing phone slow assistance slow. And they want to charge for the silliest things. A 45 dollar resort fee STOP just put it in the rate. 55 dollars to valet and 50 dollars to self park wanted to charge a delivery fee for some cups and silverware in a place that charges over 700 per night. Interesting! Overall good stay the quirks are the quirks."
"We recently spent 6 nights at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Ka'anapali and had a pleasant stay overall. It balances a prime beachfront location with great everyday conveniences. What we loved: Easy Arrival: The check-in process was smooth and welcoming—exactly what we needed after a 10-hour flight with a 90-minute layover. Good Rooms: Our room was clean and had a great walkout balcony equipped with sitting chairs and a table. The shower also had excellent water pressure. Fantastic Daily Activities: They offer an impressive lineup of free on-site activities. We loved the variety, which included fitness classes alongside cultural experiences like ukulele lessons, coconut weaving, and feeding the resident birds and koi fish. Convenient Dining: Having an on-site Starbucks made mornings so easy, and the overall on-site food prices were quite reasonable for a major resort. Prime Location: The resort sits right on Ka'anapali Beach, just a short walk from the shopping and dining at Whalers Village. Things to Consider: Resort Fees: Keep in mind that daily resort fees and parking costs are extra and will add to your final bill. Busy Pools: The pool decks are beautiful but can get crowded, so plan ahead if you want a prime lounge chair. Luau Tip: We walked right over to the nearby sister resort, the Sheraton, to take in the Maui Nui Luau. It was convenient to access without needing to worry about driving or parking! Overall, it is a beautiful property in an unbeatable location. We would definitely consider staying here again!"
