We had the pleasure of being served by Truss, hands down the best server we’ve had in a long time. He took the time to walk us through the menu, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be absolutely spot on. And the food — wow. The scallops were tender and perfectly prepared, and the pork belly was rich, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the fried rice was so flavorful we could have eaten a second order. Every dish came out beautifully plated and just so darn delicious. "We had the best butter fish at Doraku! This location is in Royal Hawaiian village. Beautiful decor and they have both indoor and outdoor. Tuna Don was fresh. Tuna tataki was tasty. Sushi roll was ok. Definitely one of the good meal we had in Waikiki."
