Sushi Matsuri

"If you are searching for high-quality, authentic sushi in Waikiki, look no further than Sushi Matsuri. Tucked away in the Stix Asia food hall, this spot is a true hidden gem that delivers an incredible dining experience. From the very first bite, it is clear that the quality is top-tier. You can taste the attention to detail—from the perfectly prepared, consistent rice to the impressively fresh, non-frozen fish. It’s rare to find such high-level craftsmanship in such a relaxed, accessible setting. I was particularly impressed by their nigiri sets; the cuts were generous, fresh, and showcased a level of flavor that is truly above average. Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. The staff is attentive, friendly, and more than happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to order. The atmosphere is stylish and serene, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Whether you are a sushi purist or just looking for a delicious, reliable meal, Sushi Matsuri hits the mark on every level. I’ve already recommended it to friends, and I can’t wait to come back. Don’t miss this one!"

"What an awesome lunch I had today! My server Riko was very attentive and super friendly. She also gave me some great recommendations of things to try. The place is in the Stix Asian Market, with plenty of seating available. I opted to go for the Nigiri Dinner Seto which was spectacular! Each bite tasted perfect, and the miso soup was also really good. I highly recommend going there as you wont be disappointed! Arigato!!"

"Oh my goodness the Uni was the best I ever had. I found this placed tucked away in an Asia mall and it did not fail to wow me. Every bite was soft tender fresh and the flavours took me on a journey of happiness. Highly reccomend. The picture is after I ate my first course so the Uni isn’t in the picture :)"
